एक वीर जवान की कीमत अनमोल है. शहीदों के परिवारों के दर्द को शायद ही कोई और समझ सके. लेकिन सरकार शहीदों के परिवारों के दर्द को बांटने और थोड़ी मदद के लिए कई तरह की सुविधाएं देती है. आइए जानते हैं कि सरकार की ओर से शहीदों के परिवारों को कौन-कौन सी सुविधाएं प्रदान की जाती हैं.

पढ़ाई-लिखाई और इलाज का खर्च

रक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा प्रेस इन्फॉर्मेशन ब्यूरो (PIB) पर दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार शहीदों के परिवार के बच्चों को पढ़ाई और इलाज के खर्च में छूट देती है. दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार एक्शन में शहीद या मिसिंग सैनिकों के बच्चों को पूरी ट्यूशन फीस मिलती है. साथ में स्कूल बस का खर्च और रेलवे पास भी मिलता है. इसके अलावा बोर्डिंग स्कूल और कॉलेज में पढ़ने वाले बच्चों की हॉस्टल फीस, हर साल 2000 रुपये कॉपी-किताब का खर्च, 2000 रुपये तक यूनिफॉर्म खर्च, कपड़े का 700 रुपये, ईसीएचएस में फ्री इलाज भी मिलता है. इसके लिए ईसीएचएस की फ्री मेंबरशिप मिलती है.

मिलता है पेट्रोल पंप

वीर नारियों (शहीदों की विधवाओं)/आश्रितों के लिए पुनर्वास महानिदेशालय (डीजीआर) द्वारा पेट्रोल पंप का आवंटन जैसी कई पुनर्वास योजनाएं भी चलाई जाती हैं. इसके अलावा शहीद सेनिकों के परिवार/आश्रितों को वित्तीय सहायता भी प्रदान की जाती है. साथ में एलपीजी गैस एजेंसी लेने में भी छूट मिलती है.

मिलते हैं 25 लाख रुपये

शहीद सैनिकों के परिवारों को आर्मी ग्रुप इंश्योरेंस के तौर पर 25 लाख रुपये मिलते हैं. इसके साथ आर्मी वाइव्स वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन, सैनिक कल्याण बोर्ड सहित कई संगठन वित्तीय मदद करते हैं. शहीदों की विधवाओं को हर महीने पेंशन भी मिलती है. इसके अलावा केंद्र सरकार 10 लाख रुपये और शहीद जिस राज्य का निवासी होता है वह राज्य भी वित्तीय मदद करता है. राज्यों की ओर से मदद के तौर पर दी जाने वाली धनराशि अलग-अलग है.

मेडिकल कॉलेजों में रिजर्वेशन

पीआईबी पर दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार एमबीबीएस में कुल 42 और बीडीएस कोर्स में 3 सीटें शहीदों के बच्चों के लिए आरक्षित होती हैं. इसके अलावा शहीदों की विधवाओं को रेल यात्रा में छूट के लिए कंसेशन कार्ड भी मिलता है.

Get petrol pump

Many rehabilitation schemes like allotment of petrol pump are also run by the Directorate General of Rehabilitation (DGR) for Veer Naris (widows of martyrs)/dependents.Apart from this, financial assistance is also provided to the families/dependents of martyred soldiers.Along with this, there is also a discount in taking LPG gas agency.

Get 25 lakh rupees

The families of martyred soldiers get 25 lakh rupees as Army Group Insurance.Along with this, Army Wives Welfare Association,Many organizations including Sainik Welfare Board provide financial help.Widows of martyrs also get pension every month.Apart from this, the Central Government also provides financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh and the state where the martyr is a resident.The amount of money given as help by the states varies.

Reservation in Medical Colleges

According to the information given on PIB, a total of 42 seats in MBBS and 3 seats in BDS course are reserved for the children of martyrs.Apart from this, widows of martyrs also get concession cards for concession in rail travel.,
